How does Mail Call work?

We provide a site based mailbox for members to contact one another. This mailbox currently can only be used to contact members of the site. When someone sends you a message to your GIsearch mailbox we will send a notification to your personal email. You must then visit GIsearch to view the message. This method protects you from unwanted email. Other members can not contact you at your regular email address uynless you give it to them. If you choose to continue correspondence with another user, you can then choose whether or not to give him or her your personal address. This also protects you from having your email address harvested from our website by others. Whenever an email address is harvested, the owner winds up getting loads and loads of unwanted SPAM. Please remember we don't support SPAM and do everything we can to prevent it.
