When I left VN, we were at Phu Loi because we had recently lost a lot of men in an action and were at that time were going to Saigon to pick up our armor and we were the first unit to receive the new M-60 tank, all the others in VN at that time were the M-48's. I was a track commander on the medical M-113 for one day as we took all this armor back to Phu Loi. Henry; When I was told I was leaving for Saigon to return back to the states, all my men celebrated with me, in late Sept '66, at your EM-NOC club and I lost my KP cap that I wore all the time I was in VN except when we went to Chu Che. This cap was very important to me as it had the bullet hole in the top front of the cap where I was shot at Ap Nha Mat on 5 Dec '65. Did you find my KP cap with the bullet hole in it, and it also had my 2/2 crest on it? If you did find it, I will send you my address and will pay for the shipping back. thank you doc
