I spent 8 years on active duty and 20 years as a full time Air National Guard employee. I retired in 1981 and then went to work as a loan officer for 2 different credit unions. I retired again in 1999. I have 2 daughers living in Britain married to Brits, 3 grandchildren there also and 2 children and their children living in the states. I have made 4 trips back to Manston for a good look around. I have fond memories of Britain.
