Rhonda Mansfield (Air Force)
Gender: Female
Marital Status: single
Hometown: Miami-Dade, Florida
Military Status: Veteran
Military Branch: Air Force
Military Rank: E-4
About Me:
Well,,
I remember at Castle AFB, my first duty station after Sheppard AFB; April & Jeren, Chili, Mo, Angie, Al, Manny, TSGT Pittman and his family, Mr Bonner, Paul, Richard, Carl, Miceal, Michelle, Tom, Timothy, Derek, Etrilda "Tilly", these were the first military 'family or friend's to me from 1983 to January 1986.
By the time I was stationed at Homestead AFB in January of 1986, I admit that I was ready to get out due to then being a single mom to a three-month baby at first seemed unbearable but as this was in my hometown, I adapted and overcame to finish my four years plus do two years reserves when I crosstrained while at my second pcs base. I truly enjoyed my time in service and at times even now wish that I was still in despite times we are living in and enduring now. To any that may remeber that crazy short 'Airman' with a tendecy to clown a tad bit, I truly wish that your lives have been happy & fulfilling since.
I worked at the Miami VA Medical Center while a reservist from 1987 to 1989 before becoming a civilian worker with the Dept of Corrections til the present. I am divorced with two sons who are now grown and productive young adults. I now live to retire while I can HOPE to enjoy retirement benifits (if available!). My one wish is to hopefully hear from someone during my militatry days.

I'll Go (A Soldiers Oath)
I would like to share with you, a music video dedicated to all soldiers called
I'll Go (A Soldiers Oath) by Kelly's Lot.
It is a tribute to the military, and to all veterans, and is well worth watching. Please feel free to share it anywhere you'd like.
Here's the link (this is not a download, simply a link to a YouTube video):
