Tracie Larimore (Civilian)
Gender: Female
Hometown: Clovis, New Mexico
Military Status: Active Duty
About Me:
I got married to my husband Steven in 1998. We knew each other before we joined the Navy. It seems like just yesterday that we met. Time really does fly by! We have been fortunate enough to sy that the Navy has been very good to both of by letting us be stationed together. We thank God everyday for this opportunity. We don't have any kids yet, but that will happen later. (much later) Steven is in the Nuclear Power Program. He went to his "A" school and Power school in Orlando, FL before they demolished the whole base and moved everyone elsewhere. He then went to Charleston, SC to NTPU for further training. Upon graduating in the top 10% of his class, he was selected to be an instructor at NTPU in Charleston. We finished up in South Carolina in August of 2001 and drove a long, long way to get here to Bremerton. He is currently stationed aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln CVN 72. He is an EM1. That is pretty much all that is new with us. Don't hesitate to write to me if you remember me or my husband.
I have been in since August of 1997. I am a Hospital Corpsman Third Class Petty Officer. I was at Camp LeJeune, NC for FMSS training in 1998 and then went to my first duty station in Beaufort, SC. I worked in the ICU there for 3 years. I also became very familiar with the BMC at Parris Island, SC helping many others get the Marine Corps recruits "pushed" through bootcamp. It was a good experience to be there. I have recently been transferred to Naval Hospital, Bremerton, WA in August of 2001. I have worked at Subase, Bangor at the BMC and I worked in Optical Support at the Hospital as well. I am currently the new LPO of the Admissions Dept. I am in the process of putting an Officer package in so that I can complete the last year of my Nursing Degree and continue to serve as an Officer in the Navy Nurse Corps.
