Hi Frank I was in the 588th when you were there. I am sorry that I cannot remember your name. I do remember 1SG Mathews. I worked in the big pit with all communications trucks near the big Antenna that Charlie used as an aiming stake. I was at Dong-Ha for a while and eventually was sent to Quang Tri. I worked for Warrant Officer Pitman. aka (the Pit), and did a lot of traveling because of our Crypto account. SSG Howard Tracy ( SSG retired.)

I was in the 588th Signal Company from March 68 until April 69. I spent the first 4-7 months in Dong Ha and the rest of the time in Quang Tri. I know Frank and Howard Tracy. In fact, I wrote a "buddy" letter for Frank Walters for his PTSD claim and I took over the platoon/site at Dong Ha from CW3 Pitman. Remember the AF mess hall, Frank? Please feel free to drop me an email when you get a chance. I would be very glad to hear from anyone who served with me. You were all a great group of men.
