Posted by John Haglund on 06/23/2004 12:43am Hi Pal, I was Stationed at McClellan with Co C 10th MP BN for Basic Training and MP School in July of '79. I then was sent to Fort Ord and assigned to the 54th MP CO. Upon arrival, I was attached to the 54th MP Det at Fort Hunter Liggett which was about 80 miles south of Ord. I then served my last 8 months back with the 54th MP CO at Ord. I was at Hunter Liggett and Ord from 1979 to 1982. you can contact me at bigj@sw.rr.com and visit my site Big J's 54th MP Det and Veteran's Memorial http://www.angelfire.com/tx5/BigJhaglund/MPTribute.html I am also getting ready to do a site for the 54th MP Co at Fort Ord as soon as I can get some pictures together.
