	Posted by William Herron on 08/20/2001 10:57am My uncle, PFC Kenneth Raymond Herron was in the 172nd Infantry Regiment and was killed in action March 19, 1945. I would like to talk with anyone who served with him or who knew him there. I would also like any info available on reunions, or unit history of the 172nd Inf .
	Posted by Hubert Caloud on 04/05/2002 1:08am Hi We had a family friend killed in M Co 172nd 24 Jan 1945 on Luzon. Tech 5 Charles Stejskal. He is buried in the Manila cemetery. I have met different 172nd veteran's through researching his death. Do you follow the 43rd Infantry Division association web site? They usually have re unions in 2 places Florida and up in the North East. The 172nd was originally Vermont National Guard Regiment. I think in March 1945 they were fighting around Clark AIr Base. Do you know your uncles's Company? Bert Caloud
