Posted by Cassandra Hopewell on 07/06/2008 5:21am A GI posted to Wethersfield Airfield, Essex, England around 1942-45. We are unsure of the spelling of his last name. It could be Boeing or Baughen. He met Ivy Freeman in Braintree, Essex and had a daughter Susan by her in 1943. He knew about Susan and had contact with her before leaving England in 1945. We have never heard from him since. Does anyone know anything about him or of how I could contact servicemen who served at Wethersfield during this time. Thank you for reading this. Cassandra Hopewell - His grandaughter.
