My mother Jacqueline Payne had a relationship with an American serviceman in 1951. I was born in May 1952. She lived in Norwich England and I imagine he was stationed around that area. I have been told he was 21 at the time, my mum about 17/18. He would take a clean shirt with him when they went dancing to change into, for when he sweated. THe relationship was stopped by my grandfatherand consequently there was a fight or argument between my grandfather, the american and his friend. Whether he knew of my mothers pregnancy I do not know. My mother died 5 years ago and I need closure on my search. I want nothing from this person but to meet him, if he is still alive, I would like and think I deserve to know who my blood parent is. Many thanks Susan Neale nee Payne.
