Dead or Alive

If ANY Marines have known or heard of Donald E. Gilpin, please contact me. Gilpin was a S/Sgt in 1968, and entered USMC around 1959. He was in Okinawa in 1962, had two tours in VN, was born around 1940, was from the Los Angeles Valley, and was one TOUGH hombre. I was told by a fellow DI, who was with Gilpin at MCRDSD in the sixties, that after Gilpin's second tour in VN, he came back CONUS, and was killed in a car accident. No record of him in the death indexes. So, is he ALIVE or DEAD? Thanks. [Date=09-02-2005] Name:Arthur Granville algranville_2000@yahoo.com
