Posted by John Wastle on 10/09/2003 3:40pm I Live in Scotland. I'm looking for a Gayle or Gale Robertson or Robinson who was stationed in the UK September 1944. He was ranked then at Staff Sargeant level, he may have been in the Marines or Army. Hew would visit Edinburgh where he struck up a friendship with a Jessie Peters/Wastle. Prior to enlisting Gayle worked as a Miner, but before that he was raised in an orphanage. His DOB was around 1914 - 1918. We are trying to find out what happened to Gayle. kindest regards, John. john_wastle@talk21.com.
