Posted by Julie McCabe on 06/20/2006 6:14pm I am looking for my grandfather. He met Mona Bailey Webb while based in Staffordshire and they had a child - my father, who was later adopted. His birth name was Bruce Webb and he was born in 1945. If you have any info about American soldiers based in or close to Staffordshire, please contact me. Thank you. |

Posted by Larry Coppala on 07/24/2008 1:23pm My father had a daughter in England about that time frame. He may have been in your area, I don't know. I DO know he was in Aldbourne, Wiltshire County for a time. He was in the 101st Airborne, 506th PIR. (Parachute Infantry Regiment) I have some photos of women with him there, but no names. He died in 1983 at age 63. |
