Posted by Gwendolyn McGraw on 08/16/2003 11:15am Good morning, Mr. Berkey. I am a reservist/PAO journalist and "Pipeline" technician for the 98th Division located at 2035 N. Goodman St., Rochester, NY 14609. Sir, I am writing a story about Bob Hope and his heroic/timeless contributions to our military, in specific I am concentrating on the 98th Division. I have a few questions for you, Sir: When did the 98th Reconnaisance troops see Bob Hope? Where did you see him? How many people were in attendance at his show? What were your impressions of Bob Hope - please list any observations and please share your feelings, if you choose. How did Bob Hope affect the morale of the 98th Reconnaisance troops? Sir, please send your address, so that I can send a copy of our division's "Pipeline" magazine. We publish a 24-page full color magazine, which covers military news of over 8 states. My email addresses are mcgrawg@usarc-emh2.army.mil or gmcgraw@rochester.rr.com. My phone number at the unit is 800-238-3138, ext. 252. Please ask for SSG Gwendolyn P. McGraw Sir, thank you for your time and I appreciate any input you will have in reference to Bob Hope's connection and contributions to the 98th Division. Sincerely, Staff Sgt. Gwendolyn P. McGraw 98th Division PAO journalist/photojournalist Pipeline technician |
