Posted by Michael Gross on 11/19/2004 6:38am Stationed with two good friends, whom I worked with in an RF-4C squadron(s), and played with on the ball field (and smacked some golf balls around, too). Please help me find them. Andy Traywick and "Kookie" Welton. |

Posted by Don Urban on 05/20/2005 3:39pm I knew Andy before he went in the AF. We worked at an amusement park in Myrtle Beach together in 1974. I was already in the AF. I ran into him at Osan in 1982/83. He was flying the back seat in RF-4C’s TDY to us from Kadena. I crewed acft. 71-0252 in 1982 & 83. Last I saw of then “Major Traywick” he was at MBAFB RON from Shaw when Shaw still had the RF-4C. He said in a few months he would be on his way back to Teague ROK to take over the F-4E program. That was somewhere around 1987 or 1988. I haven’t heard from him since then. If you find him tell him Don Urban says howdy. He was always “Little Andy” to me and the other guys at the amusement park.
