Posted by Destiny Byars on 05/02/2009 8:27pm HI. My name is Destiny and I am looking for my paternal grandfather. His name is John Lee Byars and he was stationed on the USS Tarawa at Quonset Point, R.I. in 1957. I don't know much other than he got married and had another child soon after my father was born, which was in 1957. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. |
