Posted by Elke Weigel on 01/05/2009 5:03am I am looking for CPT. GERALD G. BENDER, who knows my father (nickname "bud"). He was stationed from 1958-1960, in Germany- Butzbach, Schloss-Kaserne. My dad was a doctor and a friend of Lt. Chester M. Staruk. Lt. Chester M. Staruk was from Worcester/Mass. and married 04.04.1959 a woman by name Gunthilde Eck in Butzbach/Germany. Captain Gerald G. Bender was his best man or witness to a marriage. My dad was in the 45th medical battalion. Cpt. Gerald G Bender and Chester M. Staruk was in 3rd Tank bat.( so they told me). If somebody has some information or knows Gerald G. Bender, please contact me. I will appreciated so much and be very grateful. elke |
