Posted by Amanda Brady on 06/27/2001 1:53pm My father was James Osborn, and my mother was Han Kyong Ahe. They have both passed away, so I am fuzzy of the details and dates. But they were my parents, and I am trying to locate my mother's family in Seoul, Korea. Her father was HAN SOON DUK and her mother was PAK SOO OK. My father was stationed at Camp Casey from about 1958 to 1959, and was in the 7th infantry division at Yongsan from about 1960 to 1962. My mother died when I was five, and I never met her family. We lost contact after she passed away. She had four children. Two were born in Korea, two in the states. I have many pictures of her, and a list of her siblings and their birthdates. My father met her while stationed in Korea in the mid 50s, and married her around 1959 or 1960. They lived in Korea for a couple years, then moved to the US. Her second oldest brother was JOO SUK, and her youngest brother was CHANG SUK. Her oldest sister was YONG AE, and her youngest sister was SUH JA. The family's permanent address in the paperwork I received was #13, l-ka, Chungan-ro, Jaechon-up, Jaechon-gun, Chungehunbukdo. And my oldest brother was born at #13, Hannam-Dong, Yongsan-Ku, Seoul. If you know how to reach her family, please email me at: amanda@brady.net |
