Posted by Micki Szabo on 06/05/2003 11:38am I am looking for Robert Gene Johnson who was stationed at Fort Ord, CA from 1964 to 1965. That is when I knew he was there, could have been stationed there longer, but doubt it. He did basic training at that time. Bobby, as he was known, was originally from Mesa, AZ and a musician who played guitar and sang. He performed at a teen club in Scottsdale, AZ called "The Purple Pad" prior to leaving for Fort Ord. He also performed at "The Mesa Lounge" in Mesa, AZ. I was "The Girl He Left Behind". I am wanting to connect with him and compare the roads of life we have taken.
