Posted by Nathan Hyde on 09/29/2004 11:30pm I'm looking for information regarding a Lance Corporal Richard William Fischer. He was from my hometown, and I'm doing a journalism piece and the 30 men who lost their lives in Vietnam who called Madison, Wisconsin there home. He disappeared on Jan. 08, 1968 in the Dien Ban District. Here are his unit specifics: M CO, 3RD BN, 5TH MARINES, 1ST MARDIV. If anyone has any idea of where I can get more information on this lost hero please respond back. Thank you!!
