Posted by Debbie Allardyce on 07/14/2010 8:45am I have spoken to my aunt, who I thought knew my American Fathers' name, but it turns out she doesn't. All I now know is that he was posted to RAF Manston (1957-1958). He may have been in the 513th Fighter Interceptor Sqaudron or the 406th. He was deployed to France in 1958 (possibly Phalsbourg Bourcheid airbase). I've always believed his name to be Donald. My mum's name is Jean (ne; Lawson). She met him in Margate, Kent I think.
