	Posted by Kim Bowyer on 01/21/2012 1:47pm I know this is a long shot but I am trying to find my birth grandfather who I believe was an American GI deployed to the UK during WW2. Unfortunately I do not have a name. I was adopted and am now trying to search my birth family. My paternal grandfather would have been deployed to England towards the end of WW2 my fathers name was Owen Yates and his mothers name was JEAN YATES she would have been about 20years old at the time and living at 117 Leicester Road New Barnet, England. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
