I am seeking my birthfather. All I know about him is that he was stationed in Bangor in 1952, (I was born in January 1953). He went by either the name Jay, or JR. He was about 6'4"tall, blonde hair and blue eyes. He was 27 years old in 1952, so he would be about 76 years old if he is still living. If he isn't, maybe there is someone out there who might know who he is, and where I might find other family members. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help

Dear Deborah, I know how you feel, I too am searching for info. on my birth father. Do you know what branch of the service he was in or what company or anything military related? You can find a lot of information through the military records but it can also be a very tedious search and it takes a lot of patience. I will try to help you in any way that I can. Is your mother still alive or any relative on your mother's side who might be able to provide you with even a little bit more information? I have learned a little bit because of my own search, but with only a first name to go, its pretty tough. If I can help, let me know. Sincerely, Betty

Dear Deborah, I am assuming that your birth father's name is not listed on your birth certificate. How do you know about your sisters and brothers? Do you have any of their names? I don't mean to seem nosey, I am just trying to find out how to help you, I know how aggravating it can be. If you want to write back, my email is: betsyboop77@aol.com Sincerely, Betty
