I wed Ike in 1967 & was mostly estranged from him & esp, "from his kin", until our divorce in 1975. They left S.C. then & I've no contact with my kids kin since. I also have a Seruya daughter who needs to know about her Seruya side of the family. Via genealogy I learned that Col. Mitchell was from Cook County Illinois & his parents were Mr. & Mrs. Abraham Seruya who owned a store/deli? called Silk Foods. But other than that I just know Ike's Mom's maiden name was Beyda & her Dad was a bsinessman in Miami Beach,Fl about 1950, give or take 20 years..Possibly al of 1930 to 1970..Mitch died abt 1998 & is buried in Sumter,SC. His family are there & in NY I know but we don't speak. Would esp. be interested in medical info as my son Irwin Seruya has some weird medical problems as yet undiagnosed..Thank you, mapa3@webtv.net
