Posted by Elizabeth Newton on 06/24/2004 11:11am I am trying to find veterans of World War 11 who were in Torquay,or Newton Abbot in Devon during 1944/45, who knew my father Joseph Charles Mutter who died in 1988. I am his daughter and would like to make contact with anyone who knew him during his time in England U.K. where he met my mother. I only have his army number not his unit and would dearly love to hear from anyone who knew him or knows of him. I do know that he attended the 40th anniversary of World War 11 Veterans in New York. Can anyone help me please?
