Posted by Tom Burgess on 09/01/2003 2:26pm Dear Jessica, I too am searching for someone stationed in Chard, Somerset during WW2. My name is Tom, but I go by the handle of sportston. If I find anything of use to you I'll let you know. But as yet my search is still in the early days. I am looking for a Mr Mason (possibly a sergeant in the laundry section) I don't know which batallion he was in yet but I think I've narrowed it down to three possibles. Have you come accross any info., stories or recolections that you could share? If you have, it would be great to feel that I'm not alone in this seemingly insurmountable quest. I can be contacted on the following e-mail address; c.jfisher@btopenworld.com Let me know how you get on and I hope you have some success. BEST REGARDS SPORTSTON |
