	Posted by Kerry Vandegrift on 06/27/2009 4:09pm Laurie, I checked with the official website/blog of the US, and I found out that you can request to find someone on active duty but you do have to pay for it if you are not a family member, but it is only $3.95. They gave a phone number and address, but I guess that you would call in this emergency. The number is: 1-866-771-6357 My next step would be to call your Senator, Congressman (US), not State, and then State Senator or Representatives. After that or at the same time, contact the Unit that I gave you the phone # for. The address of the Government unit (phone # above) is : Commander US Army Enlisted Records & Evaluation Center ATTN: Locator 8899 East 56th Street Fort Benjamin Harrison Indiana, 46249-5301 Don't forget the $3.95. One other place that you might try is any Army or other Service Recruiting Center--the guys that run the enlistment centers are usually very willing to help people when the military is involved as they are usuall career people. Let me know how things turn out, and let me know if you have any further trouble after you have done the things I have suggested. I will then try to do it for you.
