Posted by Renee Mathis on 05/22/2001 1:47pm I AM LOOKING FOR ANY INFORMATION ON MY FATHER IN LAW. HE IS NO LONGER LIVING. It is said he enlisted in either Lancaster, Tx. or Moss Point,Ms. in 1957.His birthdate being 1938 or 1940. He changed his birthdate to get into the Navy.He might have enlisted under the name of Oliver Pete Hardy. He was sent to Coronado,Ca. He was a Gunner Mate there. He got out of the Navy in the first three months of 1958 because of his age. If anyone remembers anything about him, or has any information on my father in law it would be appreciated. I am doing my husbands genealogy. Thank you, Renee'
