Family History Research including my Dad, William S Mahoney who was with HQ Co (& Co C) 2nd BN 2nd Marines in WWII, Pacific & Occ Japan. He died 8 years ago and I want to mark his grave with a plaque showing his service. According to official documents that I recieved this week, he used (in 44 and 45) a Flame Thrower and later a B.A.R. Any one else at that time, assigned to "Inf Assault Batln 535, I'd be happy to hear from you!
