Was married in 1977 while at Ramstein and remained that way until I was sadly surprised in 1999 that my wife wanted out to be with another. Struggled through the recovery from that, but later met a wonderful lady at church and we married in late-2002. Couldn't be happier. God is good!
I had 2 sons (1981 and 1984) and Suzanne and I parent twins (1991). It's unrelated, but I also learned in 1999 that I'd fatherd a son in 1973 during my senior year in HS. Didn't know about that until then, but Casey's been in teh USAF since 2001 and loves the Ammo career field. Nice guy that I'm still getting to know.
I still remain in touch with 3-4 guys from Germany and appreciate their friendship and my military career.
Began as a radio DJ in college and became a TV reporter after graduation (83). Went back to radio and continue doing sports play-by-play of high school and college games in Bend and Keizer/Salem, OR. After leaving radio full-time (89) I've worked as a spokesperson for several different gov't. agencies including the Guard for 4 years. Am currently employed at the Oregon Dept. of Veterans Affairs in Salem as a public info rep.
