My husband has a daughter that's 28 yrs old by a previous marriage who wants answers about her grandfather. My husband needs answers to be whole. He is the Chief of Police in a small Virginia town. He has been in law enforcement for 35 yrs.
I am trying to find a man that was stationed at Ft/Camp Pickett in the late 1940's to early 1950's. He had a relationship with a woman by the name of Hallie Hendrick. From what I've been told this mans name was Bagley or Besley and was a high ranking officer that Ms. Hendrick worked for. A child was conceived and born in NY, NY in June 1951. The child is now my husband. He has never been told anything about his father. It's a very sad situation. If you have any information on Ft/Camp Pickett in Blackstone, VA during this time frame, I am interested in hearing it. No matter how little information. My husbands mother is deceased and he can not even obtain his birth certificate because all the information he has is false. Please help!
