Alton Hamilton (Civilian)
Gender: Female
Hometown: New Mexico
Military Status: Veteran
About Me:
While in the Navy, I was divorced (1972) and was raising my four children (2 boys and 2 girls) - assigned to USS Norton Sound (AVM-1) at Port Hueneme, CA. In 1976, I met a wonderful lady who became my wife in 1977. I was then assigned to the Navy Recruiting District, Denver, CO where I retired. I have been blessed with 12 grandchildren, not including our other 8 grandchildren (my wife's four children's children). I have been truly blessed with a wonderful woman, my wife, for the past 23 years. I am very content and happy with my life!
I retired from the U. S. Navy (Chief Petty Officer) in 1980 while serving with the Cdr, Naval Recruiting District, Denver, CO. I returned to my "homeland" - El Paso, Texas and have been here since. I currently work at Fort Bliss. I am the Administrative Officer for the Office of the Director, US Army Test and Evaluation Command, Threat Support Activity. I just received a promotion on May 7th, 2000. I love what I do and enjoy my position at work!
