Thank you so much for posting this brother. I was in the U.S. Army 1st Air Cav Div at base camp An Khe in 1966-67. When I returned to the USA at Ft Lewis WA, we were advised to buy civilian clothes immediately. And not to go out in uniform in public in the SEATAC area. Which I did, but had no money left for food after purchasing my plane ticket to Miami FL. I went two days without food, except for breakfast another Sgt (I was a SSG) bought for me . Also, due to my Army records burning up in a fire at the records center, I have been unable to get the VA benefits due me all these years. We continue to suffer indignities even now. Me and my family are in our 48th year of sacrifice for our Country. Including not even a calm night's sleep since 1967.
