I'm 18 years old, and I graduate highschool in a week. My father is getting married in two weeks, and I leave to Basic in abot 5 weeks. I'd say I've got a busy next few weeks. I don't have any children (much too young for that). My father is Army, brother-in-law is active army. I grew up around enlisted people, and I respect and value the ideals of the military. I can't wait to go...but I'm still a little nervous. =)
As of right now I'm a DEP (Delayed Enlistment Program) in the ARMY. I leave for Basic Training on 6 July, 2000. My MOS is 91K (Medical Laboratory Specialist) I am currently an E-2. I received a promotion because of referring one of my friends to the Army who subsequently joined the service.
