US Citizen Austrian born {Parental duty station} raised in Europe, S. Vietnam & Central West Africa going to local native schools at age 14 was sent to army run boarding school as I did not speak English. From there joined Navy and spent several tours with the USMC. Never liked the admin paper work but loved working with my hands and repairing things or trying to improve things and during one tour with the USMC I had a knee injury requiring a hinged brace which deleoped a squeek when I ran walked or ran which is why a lot of the USMC personnel in the unit strated calling me the Mcgiver Doc or Mechnical Man.

I'm trying to let people know about the water contamination that occurred on Lejeune from 1957-1987. The USMC is asking people to register for a study on their website www.marines.mil/clsurvey. The chemicals that were in the water are known to cause birth defects, cancers etc.
