In the early 80's, I went through AF basic training in Lackland and then tech school at Shepherd; for medic training. I had a very close camrade, Gail, from Shreveport, LA. (whose last name I can't recall). Gail's roommate's surname was Paris; who shipped off to Pease AFB (Boston area) for her first assignment.
Gail and Paris' training was for Medical Lab Tech.
Gail and my code name for each other was "BUDDY".
I'd so much like to be in touch with Gail and am thinking, that Paris can lead me to Gail. (Interesting that I remember one's first name and the other's last name. Ironic.)
