I ran the Army MARS Station out of Frankfurt 1982-83. All of our Army MARS Call signs had AEM as the first three on the call sign. What is the call on the wall in your photo of the GIESSEN MARS station? P.S. Were you the ham I used to talk to in Giessen? My call was DA2SN/AEM1SNC I ran the Gateway net from Frankfurt for about a year. You may have also worked DA1FG Jerry, also in Frankfurt. I still have my logs from Germany in the basement, what was your call sign there? Maybe we used to talk to each other. My call now is K4SFC, name is Larry.
