I joined the AF in 1955, basic at Lackland AFB, TX, Radar Maint. Tng at Keesler AFB, MS 55-56, stationed England 56-57, reassigned to 633rd AC&W Sqd on Wheelus AB, Libya ,57-58, later 727th AC&W Sqd, Myrtle Beach AFB, SC, 58-59, 908th Radar Sqd. 59-62, Germany 62-64, 758 Radar Sqd, Makah AFS, WA 64-66, Eglin AFB 67-70, 619th AC&W Sqd, Det. 9, Ban me Thuot, RVN 70-71, 665th Radar Sqd, 71-73 & 702nd Radar Sqd, Savannah, Ga 73-75, retiring 9/75 as MSgt. Worked for Grumman & Gulfstream Aero Space Corp from 76-96, retiring from position in middle mgt. Presently, I'm enjoying the benefits of retirement in Alma, GA.
