Di-An was our rear...we lived in the Water Plant on 13.I need a LETTER stating that i was there and a COPY of "your" orders for the CIB. These people have CHANGED my DD-214,Took awat the Campaighn Medal to a SERVICE Medal w four stars..I shot EXPERT w the M-16 (have the scores..64) but they giving me MARKSMAN and won't change it.Seems like NOBODY understand anything.I have talked to some people that that DON'T even know what a CIB is,and SUPPOSE to be helping a Vet? I recall a few things ...I started out as a RTO for the Lt...After the Snipper got him..I was the RTO for Cpt Mumford..,M-79 M-60/etc They called me Ak... had a tatoo that said Duck. BRO Scaaf(the medic) recalled the tatoo...which was a shock to me!!! Know about Thu-Doc...The Vietnamese Infantry Compound...Those FAST boats that we traveled in..OH and many Eagle flights...The Rubber Plantation... if you have anything PLEASE send it..Howard E Akins US 53-758-916 2212 Chamberlain Ave Chattanooga Tn 37404.
