I'm a recent "widow", within this past year. I have three daughters. We used to joke about it, my "late" husband was an Army Staff Sgt and when he married me we used to call the girls "ripples", because I had been a WAVE! They're all grown and on their own. I have 3 grandchildren, 2 girls and one boy. The youngest daughter is active duty USAF and has been in 7 years. The middle daughter is marrried to USAF and is scheduled for AVIANO AFB, Italy within the next 3 months. The oldest lives in Rochester, NY with her husband and daughters.
I've just relocated to Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I'm a 20 year letter-carrier with US Postal. I'm currently on a "leave of absence without pay" until a transfer comes through. In the meantime this is the greatest place for opportunity! The "civilian sector" is booming! I guess I'll go back into banking until the transfer becomes "iminent".
