About Me:
Retired after 40 years as a College Teacher in the
field of High Adventure Recreation Leadership. Betty
and I and her Wilderness, Avalanche, and Water
Recovery Search Dog Champion retired from Search And
Rescue in September of 1999. Served as President of
the California Rescue Dog Association (CARDA), on the
Board of Directors of the National Association For
Search And Rescue (NASAR) for a bunch of years, and
was head of the U.S. Delegation to the International
Commission for Alpine Rescue (IKAR) for 10+ years.

My wife Betty and I are Owner/Directors of our
Boys Summer Camp (8-14 yrs.) in the Sierra of
Northern California. Our Camp, Gallagher's High
Adventure Camp specializes in physical fitness and
an active lifestyle. We climb and rappell, backpack,
whitewater raft, and build Team Work and Leadership
on our 40 foot climbing wall and our High and Low
Ropes courses.
