Thomas Cochran (Civilian)
Gender: Male
Hometown: Princeton, Kentucky
Military Status: Civilian
About Me:
Restoring antique 64 Lincoln Continental Sedan. Found my daughter whom I had never seen on gisearch.com in May 2001. She was born while I was at Sembach and is now 47-years old. Although, we aren't as close today as we were upon our finding each other in 2001, I continue to write a book on our trials and tribulations. When finished, perhaps it will provide her with an incentive to change her lifestyle and become a person of note, and respectability. That's my aim, because, regardless of her past and present actions, she is my daughter, a daughter whom I love very much and searched for those 46-years we were apart. Thanks to gisearch we found each other. After retiring from Federal Service, I got back on my genealogical search for family. I find that King Wahanganoche, Chief of the Patawomeck is my 9th Grandfather on my fathers side. I now have all that approved through the courts and the present-day tribal council. They have petitioned the state of Virginia to have the tribe recognized again which will enable all of us ancestors to get membership. On my mothers side, I have taken the family back to 1000. and although, I can go further I will stop at this point. The name has changed too many times over the centuries due to the fact they were Vikings and Hessians.
Awarded a 50-year (Diamond) pin for 50-years total in Federal Service, 24 in the Military and 26 in Federal Service. On 27 January 2003, began a new jog in Federal Service as a Management Analyst which I hope will be, both challenging and rewarding, and may be the position that will climax my Federal Service career of 55 total years, combined service, military and civilian.
