I met my wife Joan while stationed at Burtonwood
1948-1949 during the Berlin Airlift, she is from Manchester,Eng. We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary Oct.1999. We have four children,nine grandchildren and two great grandsons (twins).
Joan & I love to travel with the RV. We especially enjoy the annual reunions with the Burtonwood Association. Anyone who spent time at Burtonwood or has an interest in it,come and join us. You will have a wonderful time and meet some great people. We all have many memories and experiences to share.
I am retired from USAF after a great military career of 28 years.Some of the bases I spent time at were..Rome,NY-Burtonwood,England-Kelly,San Antonio-Bentwaters,England-Minot,ND-Hickham,Hawai-
Beale,California-McCoy,Florida-Bergstrom.Texas.
