About Me:
I divorced my wife in 1974, she was living here in LA and I did'nt want to have to buck the california divorce laws. She died in 1982. My youngest son died in an accident in 1983 at 33 years of age, a loss I still feel. I have four grandchildren one from my oldest son and his wife and three from my daughter, I have six greatgrandchildren, my daughter has four and my oldest grandson has two. I am an amateur radio operator (ham) I have been licensed since1988 and belong to a ham organization that works with the LA fire dept. I have just bought a computer and am learning to operate it.

I retired in 1975 from the city of Pittsburgh, I was a stationary engineer with the dept of water. I moved to los Angeles to be with my daughter and my youngest son and have lived here ever since and am enjoying my retirement.
