Goldie and I have done a lot of traveling and golfing before and after retiring. Our daughter, Sandra, gave us two grandsons (Trey & Ryan Lyda)and our son, Gene, gave us two granddaughters (Gene' and Marie Holt).
After receiving my wings with Class 45F, I was stationed at Perrin Field; Andrews AFB; Sheppard AFB, Craig AFB, Nagoya and Tokyo, Japan with the 5th Air Force Headquarters from 1956-1959; James Connaly AFB, and retired at Randolph AFB, TX, as a Major in 1964. From 1964 to 1983, I was an executive pilot with Management Services Inc flying the Gulfstream One at Marshall Space Flight Center, NASA, at Huntsville, AL. From 1983 to 1988, I was Chairman of the Board for Management Services Inc. Retired in 1988.
