Royal Maiden III (Civilian)
Gender: Male
Hometown: Tennessee
Military Status: Veteran
About Me:
Wife's name: Taeko. Two sons, Dean, age 43 and Mark, age 40. One grandchild, Tina Marie Lynn Maiden, age 4 (Dean's daughter.) Dean lives in Escondido, CA and Mark and his wife, Tina, live with us in Apple Valley, CA. Mark works for the Marine Corps at MCLB, Barstow, CA as a electronic warfare equipment repair specialist. For fun, we explore the country in our 36' Southwind motorhome. We just recently completed a six-week trip to various hot springs in the western states and Canada. We're doing what we always dreamed of, living the good life.
After leaving the Army I begin a new career in the industrial security field. This led to several interesting assignments. I finally became tired of living out of a suitcase and in 1980 was hired by Hilton Hotels and sent to Honolulu as Director of Security for the Hilton Hawaiian Village on Waikiki Beach. In 1993 I left Hilton and went into business for myself as a hotel/resort security consultant. I performed security surveys, training and litigation support for various hotels and law firms throughout the Hawaiian islands, south pacific, southeast Asia and Japan.
