Married to Tracy (Abbott) Kurasiewicz, have one child, Paul from this marriage, and adopted two others, Mike and Tricia, and one foster daughter, Missy. No time for hobbies.
Retired from active duty Jun 86. Entered reserves and served with Emergency Preparedness at Ft Sheridan, then at Great Lakes for the Midwest Region. After a 3 year assignment with the 85th Division in Arlington Hts, IL, took command of the 318th Press Camp Hqtrs in Dec 99. I had two 6 month overseas deployments: one in Jan 1996 I served as Deputy Chief of the Military Liaison Team in Warsaw, Poland, and in Oct 2000 deployed entire Press Camp (PAD) to Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the civilian sector, I worked 10 years in the insurance & investment sales arena, and in 1997 went to work for Veeder-Root as Midwest District Field Support Manager.
