In 1990 he was diagnoised with cancer and fought the
cancer until August 1999, when he passed away in Winter Garden,

I am doing this to find anyone who served with my father in Vietnam from 10/67 through 11/68.
After leaving Vietnam, he was stationed in Ft Bragg, NC, where he received the name, "Papa Bear", they
said he could talk a helicopter in for a safe landing in zero visibility. He later joined the Military Police
and then retired in 1982 as a First Sergent.
