I made it through EN "A" school as a distiguished military graduate and then from there I went straight to Bahrain on a six month deployment attached to the USS Bunker Hill (CG-52) and recieved the battle E award, Coast Guard accomodation medal, Sea service deployment medal and armed forces expeditionary medal. I then was promoted to EN3.
