I am single. My Fiance died 11 16 98. I am a Life Member of VVA Chapter 154 in Mt Clemens, Mi. I am also on the Board of Directors. I use most of my vacation for visits to the VA Hospital in Detroit where we give out goodies to the hospitalized vets, such as candy socks, playing cards, crossword puzzles, combs and other personal items. I was on our Color Guard Point Team until my back got to where I could no longer march or due funeral detail. I have attended many funerals of our chapter members. I am involved with our Operation Christmas. This is where we hold a dinner and dance for whatever the cost to enter plus an unwrapped gift for a boy or girl. The Saturday before Christmas we deliver food and toys to needy veteran families. I am learning to play on the computer now too. My brother, Bob (Jake) Jacobs, put me onto this website.

I work for Detroit Edison. I will retire with 30 yrs at the end of 2004
